Injector issues???????
92 SC400, Still having a problem with my car running horribly. Cats are still glowing red, eye burning fuel smell, turtle slow acceleration.
Getting fire from both igniters and coil packs, no broken or unplugged wires, cats have about 1500 miles on them. New pcv, FULL EXHOUST 1600MILES, NEW 02 SENSORS cleaned maf. Reset computer, no bad fuses that i can find.
Other than maybe injector being out, is there any other reason for dumping fuel into cats?
What are symptoms of injector being bad?

Any check lights on the dash?
Have you tried a different ecu? If you have damaged/old capacitors it could be acting this way. Check the forums for how to pull it out and what to look for.
Another thing to try is a different MAF. I had a bad MAF that wasn't very dirty but I had cleaned it hoping to fix things; it looked like new...except it was bad internally so it still sputtered constantly.
Good luck with the troubleshooting.

As VIP said, check your ECU
It is a very common problem on the cars your age. Could very well be the issue. All you have to do is pull the carpet back, remove the cover, pull it out, open up and if you see damage around the capacitors, that's likely the issue. There are plenty of threads on here showing pictures of a bad one so refer to them if you need to.
