Default I just did the dual electric fan conversion!

replaced the factory belt-driven fan w/ the Flex-a-lite dual electrics pulling something like 2500 cfm. The install was pretty straight forward. I rigged it up so that the fans are always on when the ignition is on. I used a relay that was not supplied by the kit. The kit fit perfectly and comes w/ a thermostat relay for those who trust the accuracy/dependability of them. I always heard that there were leak issues where the thermo sensors were fitted into the radiator hose, so I avoided that all together.
Result:
Works great! I wouldn't say there is a night and day difference, but the car seems more responsive now. The revs seem to go a little quicker and the car is more noticeable in the upper rpms. You can certainly hear the electric fans from the outside, but in the cabin it is barely noticeable. Temperature reading from the instrument gage remains the same as before the mod. What I did notice was that the radiator can be touched after driving a certain amount of time and only feel warm. Whereas before, the radiator was so hot you couldn't touch it after a drive. I would recommend this mod to my fellow 300s.

Where did you get this electonic thermostat and part numbers? I used the supplied sensor inside the upper radiator hose. No leaks, but I did have to add a hose clamp and really tighten down.

tggoodrich--how has this mod worked for you in terms of power gain? Any noise issues?

Noise is not an issue unless you are walking outside your car.
As for power, I don't believe the 20-30 hp gains that are claimed (may want to update that in the FAQ if you see this Rich- been meaning to tell you). I would say that it is maybe in the area of a 10hp gain. When I get the new SAFC put on and tuned, I will get a baseline run and compare it to other stock 5-speed's dyno's to give us a better estimate of hp gains.

I didn't upgrade my alternator. I haven't seen any issues so far. Time wil tell.

Cap- S-AFC is a $400 mod that taps into the MAF signals and ECM to fool the ECM into thinking the car is getting more or less air. Properly tuned, the SAFC will then tell the ECm to deliver that optimum amount of fuel to then engine for the best mix of fuel/air, thus giving the most power. Our cars are a bit under tuned to provide better gas mileage/emissions.
