Default AEM V2 auto transmission burnout questions....

I did a search and didnt find anything so here it goes.....
does anyone know how to setup the AEM V2 to stay in 1st gear on an auto trans for burnouts? i know it will automatically go into 2nd gear and even with my billet 2nd gear sprag i dont wanna take the chance and my trans break. im pretty sure it is possible to manually shift the car using the standalone if need be. but i have no idea how to set it up.

any input would be helpful.

The only way I can see this happening through the map is modifying shift points... not to let it shift

but the system should have a way to know whether you are in a burn out or normal driving.

What firmware version are you using on that AEM v2 ? I have ditched the AEM v2 in one of my cars with Auto Trans and flex fuel because of not being able to control it properly.

Not sure but I think 23. The trans shifts ok and at the set points we have set up in it. I just gotta figure this out before I take it to the track and kill the trans.

Pretty sure you are using the older firmware cause the newest firmware would NOT support or shift that auto trans properly .. exactly the reason why I ditched it.

Ya I heard about that. We were gonna send the unit back to get the old firmware put on if we had shifting issues but she shifts good.

We spent about 15 hours on the dyno tuning on pump and 116 and 121. I got about 12 different tunes I can choose from but nothing for drag racing yet. I'm waiting to hear back from my tuner but at the same time I'm learning how to tune a little and wanted to see if I can figure this out without tuner time.

Well reason I asked is , with your answers I would be able to figure / confirm what firmware you currently have on your AEM. Since you don't seem to be using the flex fuel capability with a flex fuel sensor.
