Default Weird idle (Idle set screw?)

Hey, so I took my car to a local "mechanic" because my car was idleing High and he turned it down through the idle set screw on top of the throttle body. It turned out my timing was off. Now that my timing is fix my idle is inconsistent. Idleing sometimes at 850 then sometimes at 1k. Is their any way to adjust the screw back to factory position? Do I have to mess with the tps? Any help will be appreciated
