I used a union bolt for the oil supply from a IS300. Save your money and just drill out the old one.

gadget, why do you recommend just drilling your old union bolt instead of picking it up from a IS300? i can find junkyard IS300s all over and get one for cheap; is it not as good or something?

what size lines are those? they look like -6AN

and this is prolly a dumb question; but it just hit me...

i'm assuming the oil drain outlet on the turbo needs to be located on the BOTTOM from how the turbo is mounted correct?

Bean....the reason I suggest drilling your existing bolt is....The bolt was $35.00, it is drilled and tapped, though I am unsure of the size. My oil supply line was 4an with a 1/8" NPT fitting, so I drilled and tapped it for the size that I had.
The oil return line is a 10an, and it is on the bottom of the turbo. Hope this helps

Default Question

Does anyone know the best location for the VPC pressure and temp sensors. I can only find the locations for the turbo intake . Thanks!

Question on the Walbro... Did you just do a drop in install and wire it to the existing pump wiring? Or did you wire it directly to the battery through an aftermarket relay?

Scott....I did a drop in install and used the existing wiring. The only thing I did different was to use neoprene rubber wrapped around the pump and securing it to the mount with a hose clamp. In the pic you see the hose clamp....I went in the second time with the rubber because I wanted to secure it better.

You are going pretty fast!
How long do you think the whole conversion will take?

U got it, it's on...

Looks like she's coming back together real nice, I can see your attention to detail, i.e. scrubbing the deposits off the pistons, etc. I'm sure it'll run super-strong, you just can't go wrong with HKS. I'd like to come by 'the lab' within the next few days and check in on the progress, i'll PM you later...
