1jz swap SC Hiccups at 1700 and eats starter relays.
Hey everyone,
I just finished my 1jz swap in my Sc300. Im running a patch harness w/ a 2jzgte ecu. Other than that everything is stock.
I checked though the forums but couldnt find any answers so im posting here.
1) My car idles at like 1200 rpm
2) When I push the throttle(slowly) when i get up to 1700 rpm it starts hiccuping and jerking between 1200 and 1700. However if i step on it after 2000rpm it revs smooth. As i was moving around my tps sensor it would start to do the same at idle and revs would go up and down constantly. (Plugs are new, coils are good, put in a walbro 450 with 12v mod as stock one went out)
3) My car used to start fine, however once I got it moving it ate up 2 starter relays an 2 starts, and now I have to jump it using a wire from the battery.
If any of you have any advice for me that would be great!
Currently i'm checking my tps sensor to see if its giving the correct resistance.
Thanks!
JP
