Default Need help with starter installation

Hello, I own a 1995 SC400. I'm doing a starter job...what a PITA!!! I'm installing the new starter and it's binding on the flywheel. Has anyone done this job? Did you need to shim the starter?

never had an issue like what you say you have, currently have updated to a 3uz starter and had no problems fitting it.
