Access to vacuum lines at steering pump-SC400

Default Access to vacuum lines at steering pump-SC400

I need to confirm the pair of vacuum hose at the steering pump are clamped properly (if not I need to fix them).

What is the most convenient way to do this with minimal tear down?

I replaced mine blind, feeling around from the back (toward the firewall) side. I probably had the air intake out, but I'm not sure. It's a tight fit, but you can sort of snake your hand down there. Getting at the clamps and removing dried out old hoses isn't fun, if necessary, but you probably expected that.

Thanks for responding. Just in case some one else needs this ...

One can see the lower connection very clearly from bellow (need to drop the plastic shield). One can feel the the other from below. Since the thing is screwed in the lower/upper connections can end up at another angle.
