v160 with tt auto lsd pumpkin?
I finally got the tt auto lsd pumpkin installed into my 5sp sc300 and now it looks like I might have the opportunity to grab a v160. Is it possible if I have a custom driveshaft made to simply keep using my auto tt lsd torsen? I know that in the end I want to get the 6sp 220mm lsd pumpkin and axles, but that is going to almost double the cost of the upgrade.

Congratulations on the LSD diff! First, yes, such driveshafts can be made or purchased. I don't have specific recommendations from experience, sorry, but try starting with Driftmotion. They have quite a bit in the driveshaft solution department.
Next, you will need to find a GS400 VVT-i or 98-00 SC400 VVT-i rear differential which has a 3.26:1 ratio. You really do need that to get as close as possible to the 3.133:1 ratio the V160 was originally paired to. And then use a speedo corrector to even out the difference.
This means you'll need to take your TT Auto LSD diff and the 3.26 Open diff to a driveline shop and have them swap the lower ratio into the TT pumpkin. And you'll need to swap over an SC companion flange (unless a custom driveshaft negates that need). The 3.77:1 ring and pinion would be worth turning around and selling since they are kind of rare and desired.
First thing though-- if you can afford a V160 in good shape, focus on that before you put the pieces together.
