Default would a code 22 cause spark plugs to foul out?

Had a bad misfire changed the plugs and it fixed the problem but the check engine light stayed on. The code was 22 engine coolant temperature sensor. Now the misfiring is back after a week. Do you think this is fouling out my plugs?

yeah if it fails open then it thinks the engine is cold all the time and you get a bunch of fuel.
A bunch of fuel when the engine is warm and the ecu doesn't know it = fouled plugs.
replace the coolant sensor, and then run the car the plugs will clean themselves in a little while.

QFT - also, if you manage to get it to run, your gas mileage will be garbage....

I have a similar problem, and replaced the sensor with a brand new toyota sensor, spent the extra money.

Still have code 22, ECT circuit fault............long story short -- a long time ago, the wires for the ECT plug broke, I soldered them back quickly, I am not an expert in soldering......Should I try again? I also broke the knock sensor wires, I soldered those and those codes went away.

What you think Ali SC3?

that is a good thought I have broken one of those wires and repaired them before also. maybe it broke in another spot or it came loose, I would definitely take another look at it.
