1997 SC400 AC Compressor Lock Sensor
My AC light is blinking. I replaced the relay and that wasn't the problem. The system was checked for leaks and proper pressures and all was good. The compressor itself is good.
The shop I took the car to suggests it is the compressor lock sensor. I live on the east coast of Canada and when I had my local Lexus dealer check for that part he told me the closest one is in California. Upon further checking it seems that particular part is a part that rarely goes bad.
So now I'm wondering if anybody else has had to replace that part or if anyone has another suggestion.
One person I spoke with today said it might be the climate control pressure switch but I haven't been able to learn anything about that part. Maybe it is the same thing as the compressor lock sensor???
Thanks!
PS I know I posted this same message yesterday but I posted it to the wrong place and I don't see how to delete it. Sorry for the duplication.

I think it could be the solar sensor based on some research.
also, you can make the a/c light blink out the codes and they you will know what to replace.
I believe the solar sensor is separate in the car somewhere if this one has it.
The compressor lock sensor you are talking about is in the compressor itself and if it was bad you would have to replace the compressor.
what do you mean the compresor is good, can you get it to turn on and spin? if it turns on and spins then your lock sensor is fine. the lock sensor would prevent that from happening of it would start and then shut off.
read this thread and start with figuring out your a/c code, the blinking light is not random.
