I put the feelers out for an R154 as well. I could get good money for the two W58's at 110K and 68K.

Well depending on how much if you sold both of them you should be able to pick up a r154

How much/long have you driven at 515 hp with it? My builder has been running over 500 through his for years.

It has been about 4 years to so. But with the amount I have driven it, I would say about 1 good summers worth of driving.

I am nearing the 450 range. I daily it thru out the week and on weekends I do quite a bit of freeway pulls (roll races)
I NEVER launch nor do I slam gears. But I am constantly in boost and like I said on weekends I do probably average
30+ 2nd-4th gear pulls to redline. I normally am on 12psi. But I bump it up to around 17psi on weekends.

I talked to you on sc300 Facebook page. I am the guy that blew a act pp. I'm honestly super supr is ed the w58 didn't take a cap then. I have since installed yet another act 6puck act XT pp. I was going to go with a rps blue max full faced disc. But after I ordered it from mvp motorsports..and waited a week after they told us 3 days. Then I called and they said up to 2 weeks to a month. I canceled and went back to another act.

bewebdev.... thanks for the breakdown and input, I really appreciate it.
Ha, you must have some juicy alternatives if a 515hp car is getting so little game time. Thanks!

Sneezin300,
So sorry you could not get the RPS, it sucks to settle when you know what you want.

About how long have you been with the above general routine? I actually feel quite encouraged by the feedback i'm getting. I live in NYC and even getting somewhere I can get into boost takes some time. Truth of the matter is, between the police, the huge potholes, and idiot drivers, I have grown tired of the concentration that it takes to drive hard here for more that a couple minutes at a time.

Everyone likely says this but ill say it as well........ "I'm going to baby this thing, it will last me many years".

I remember talking with you on FB, (I wish I could find and bump that thread). It takes a while for a thread on W58/boost to catch participants. There are fewer and fewer of us as we kill and replace them.

It's GREAT to hear the degree of stress you introduce to it without a failure. Thats really encouraging!

Thanks for sharing guys!

I have been driving like stated for about 3.5 months. Minus 3 weeks when my pressure plate blew. I have 215 miles on new clutch. So I have been quite easy on it. About another 100 miles and I'll start hitting close to 20psi again. I wouldn't even attempt to launch my sc with the w58 because the luck I have, that is when it will blow. So I just do roll races for now.
Not to mention, my car is street tuned by me on a safc2, hks vpc, precision 550's, walbro, 67mm ect ect
