help (SC400 dies shifting out of park)

Could be any one of a number things, but, more often than not, if an engine dies when taking it out of Park or Neutral and putting it in gear, the idle speed is too low and/or the fuel-mixture is too lean, which means that the idling engine will not have enough power to keep it running once it is connected to the transmission and weight of the whole car, and not just idling.
