Default Maintenance: In acknowledgement of E-Day: Catalyst

What is the tolerances of heat that aftermarket catalyst can withstand and what do we know about the longevity in their capability to properly ignite the hydrocarbons spent from the combustion process of the engine?

So lets say if and when I buy a Toyota Oringal Eqipment (T.O.E.) Catalyst for a JZA80 and have some wicked welder lay beads and mandrel bend some dual exhaust piping, would I spend more up front for the T.O.E. catalyst and end up with a melted honeycomb from sending hyper moleculary cooled oxygen to be combusted in the engine with superior atomized high octane fuel thus increasing the exhaust temperatures and rendering my expensive T.O.E. a heap of restrictively melted precious metals? Compared to optioning for a aftermarket unit with a less restricted. Honeycomb wich may not process the gasses to fully ignite yet can endure higher temperature but if it fails it would not be a total failed effort.

I could just break federal law straight pipe it; bosozoku style and arm the molecular oxygen hyper cooler switch and keep on rolling.

3" high flow magnaflow cat here on the midpipe about $70 on ebay. when the man complained about not having 2 cats, I stuck another one behind it.
I also made myself another midpipe with no cats for umm track usage, yes lets just say track usage.
