The ECU will most definitely cause transmission issues. Most sc4 trans issues are the ECU.

Yeah, there's something going on near R133. Either it's leaking or was previously and the leakage wasn't cleaned up when replaced.

Then there is your answer. Most, if not all of your issues are linked to the ECU. Have it rebuilt. Buying used will not be as reliable. GL and post what you find!

A fellow forum member offered a ECU from a 94 SC400 that's in working condition. But any suggestions on a place that does rebuilds.

Also I noticed this today. Timing is now off but if I reset the car it goes back to normal.

I used the 150 dollar eBay option it is was great service, Tanin electronics is cheaper. Never used them so cannot really recommend but from what I hear they have great service and quick turn around. GL

I'll give Tanin a try hopefully that fixes the problem and it's not actual boar damage.

Someone already replaced the capacitors in that ECU. Hopefully it can still be saved.

Really need help with my knock sensors guys. I replaced both with brand new sensors but I still get code 52 & 55. So my timing is being retarded pretty badly as car loses almost all power. A lot of people said it's the knock sensor harness but I can't find one anywhere. Is it possible to wire it myself ?

ECU has been rebuilt which fixed a lot of codes but these two.
