A while ago someone here mentioned that they had motec and custom Camshafts on their SC400 putting down like 300WHP. Does anyone in US have have these cams? also does anyone make pulleys for the SC400? searching returned massive results but all for SC300's.. maybe I missed it.. any info would be awesome.

C's makes a set of cams for the 1UZ, otherwise you can deal with the Australians, or call Brian @ Crower and see if he can help you, but that's a lot of cams to regrind amigo .....

For pulleys you may have some luck calling UR, they're located not too far from you, out East by me...

Cams,lets see..Webcam in Australia,or Kelford,also in Australia say they can do it,but are very slow to respond to emails;I gave up waiting.
Was actually thinking of making my own pulley;4" diameter would give a 30% decrease in rpms for all those pumps and other rotating stuff.
I wish I knew how critical the harmonic dampener is to the life of these motors first,however.
82mm stroke w/a forged crank,my first guess is to just go for it,but...

gotcha on those cams. I don't want to have anyone start from scratch, I read the amount of regrind the auzies had to do. I may opt for the australians.
UR=who are they?

You can now buy hot cams ready to go. 50 hp at the flywheel - not estimated by done on an engine dyno. I wish they were available when I did my cams. Good idea to get some custom headers installed same time - not that hard - if your regular exhaust shop baulk at the idea then go to a hot rod shop who are comfortable with custom work.
The cams are available from Carbontech - a place in Victoria Australia.

Peter: have you had any luck with carbontech? I've emailed them 5-6 times and got no replies.

Luthor: I'm a idiot.

Lex Luthor, you mention above some place called C's that makes performance cams for 1UZ FE. Who are they? How do I get in touch with them? Frank

Question for anyone with the C's or the Carbontech cams. How much did it effect the idle? Was it still smooth or did it get rough? Any input is appreciated.
