you don't need the spring. some say to remove it so the factory pedal doesn't snap as the spring adds alot of pressure to the pedal when compressed.
there are a few threads where people have broken the factory pedal and blamed it on the spring. without the spring it will just be easier to push I would imagine.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. Still don't know how people break a pedal. They must be driving pretty aggressively to that.

Cool post up some pics when you get it installed👍. Also I believe a cheaper option for the brake is to either trim the pad down, or put the smaller manual brake pad on it. I've heard it works just fine and gives you enough room, as long as you're not shaq that is

I am going to try to get a supra or celica or tercel brake pedal, they all look to have the same bolt pattern, I wonder if part numbers match up

and the kit came as pictured, here are some close ups of the welds, you be the judge

am I wrong to feel the welds should be all the way around in places?

clutch pedal option-dlvckcb.jpg
so to disengage the clutch I have to really push the pedal in and even kind of push it to the right to get it to work.

but then again I cant tighten the left side nut down because I cant get a socket over it anymore. the nut is too close to the wall next to it. but the pedal isnt loose so IDK.

It has that much pressure on its own or after the clutch cylinders are wired up?

Great to hear its working for you. I still think I'm going to go with the s13/14 pedal route instead. I see them going for free-$70 and I'm cheap 👍

I've tossed around the idea, but it will be nothing like stock. Those pedal boxes are meant for full-on race and drag cars. I'm talking like custom frame 1500+HP drag beasts and other dedicated race cars. Not to mention it will take a good amount of fabrication to get it installed and working, and all of that for a ****ty pedal feel.

Starting to price out my w58 swap, so I went on the website and it appears to be down or something. Anyone else have this problem? http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com/ONLINESTORE.html?cid=65&step=4&pid=393
