Get the TRD its worth every penny..don't buy the stock TT auto diff when you can get a TRD unit for e few hundreds more, ever wonder why Supra people remove their stock units for the TRD?

3.26 W/ r154 is a lot of fun, W58 w/ 3.26 is also fun , I had them all except the tt auto 3.76.

The LS400 3.62 is also another option.

The issue I found near me was I didn't know anyone locally / trustworthy that could do the install for the TRD diff in a gs430 3.26 diff. I read up and studied the install to do it myself but also feared ruining something. The local toyota dealership quoted me something insane like $800, and other trans shops about $400. Once you buy the diff, TRD diff, bearings and install kit, and pay for install you are easily $1800-$2,000 invested. This is why finding a used TT Auto diff is optimal as it's almost bolt on, swap the companion flange and you are $1,000 invested and can handle 700whp.

This platform isn't cheap!

i'm ok with spending the money. I just cant spend it all in one week or one month like I would want. it would be a 2 maybe 3 month process, depending on the months. haha. but yeah, so which would have a bit better fuel economy but still give me a good pull on a n/a sc300 2jz? 3.62 from ls400 or 3.9 from sc400? I feel like 3.62 would be a tad worse than the 3.9 on the line but better fuel economy going 80mph. (I know I shouldn't be going 80 but that's all I do in vegas freeways.)
like I said earlier, I drive 50 miles a day minimum just to work, that's not including school that I go to from Monday through Friday also. so i'm mostly interested in fuel economy but I still want to be able to have fun or go to the drag strip to have fun. not break records though.

if you are not planning on being turbo soon then go with the higher one so the 3.9
the 3.6 would be fine but without the power to make up for the longer gears the car might feel sluggish down low, and all the highway mpg's in the world cannot make that feeling go away.

Long shot, but wondering if you still have the USDM ECU 89661-14510 and if you want to sell it. Thanks
