Shiftronic and ECU mod
Hi all,
I was looking through the archives here for information about ECU mods for a '94 SC400. I've found some positive info on the one from WeaponR. Can anyone who has it installed post some more details such as performance increase (low / top end), and other effects such as shift points etc. Also, if you have any other recommendations for ECU mods.
I am also looking for a way to gain better control over up- and downshifts, preferably even something like a retrofit shiftronic unit. Does something like this exist? I know levelten has it, but they never answer my emails, so I assume they don't have an application for the SC4. Any other ideas apart from using the gear selector?
Thanks,
Mike

I will let you know on the ECU mod on Monday. Leo from Weapon-R is in Vegas this weekend and will be installing and tuning the ECU. I've heard great reviews on the product. Leo quoted me an increase of 20+ hp. Sounds about right. We'll find out.

Well, Leo couldn't get to Vegas this weekend. It rained on Sat and Sun and they had to postpone the race until July, which means I have to wait until then to get my ECU tuned. But I'm still getting the intake and exhaust done so it's not all bad. Call soon to get the ECU if you want it. I think Leo is going to Japan for a while and won't be available to program any for a while.
