Default a little insight for a 2jz vvti swap

Ok i want to purchase a 2jz vvti for my 93sc300, yes i know non vvti is easier but i have been there done that i want to try something different. I will be keeping everything stock i just want a fun cruise car that is a little more reliable than a big single turbo 1 or 2j, so my questions are

1. Is there a specific 2j vvti i should look for? I know the 1jz vvti has the jzx110 and 100.

2. I am already planning for a harness from dr.tweak is there any other big parts i need?

3. Do all the 2jz come front sump?

4. Will i need new motor mounts so they will fit the sc?

Non-vvti is far easier to swap in and since your car is originally an OBD1 car......it would make sense to keep it that...

Not all 2jzgte come front sump......the front sump are from Aristo and Rear sump would be from Supra..if you buy a front sump 2jzgte you will need to reuse your old oil pan off of 2jzge

You need to reuse you factory motor mount brackets that attach to the 2jzge block....I highly suggest you buy new motor mounts....

FYI....it is not very easy to do a non-vvti 2jzgte swap yet alone the extra headache of converting your car over to OBD2 for vvti....

well if he is getting a harness that should be most of the difficult part. the motors are physically about the same except for the vvti parts and it uses a maf for fueling, but nothing too crazy. now if you were wiring it yourself I would say go non-vvti.

This was my opinion also the harness should be the biggest part of the swap i have talked to tweak performance about the jzx100 but i was contemplating the 2jz vvti just didnt know if there was any big difference between the 1jz vvti and 2jz vvti swap
