Default Beware of Water Pump Holes!

My water pump started leaking, so I bought a new one and drove to a friends house and pulled apart the front of the engine. Tried to install the new water pump and lo and behold, the holes were close but didn't line up properly! Turns out, the parts store just looked up sc300 water pump, ordered it and sold it to me without noticing that there are two different types of water pumps that pulled up on their screen and just ordered the first one that came up. There are two different types, the 10 hole pump and the 11 hole pump. I needed the 11 and of course I was sold the 10 hole pump. If you go to buy a water pump, don't repeat my mistake and insure that they ordered/sold the correct pump, they both come up on the sc300 parts list.

Note: This is of course for just the front half, not the entire unit.

10 hole pump - $42.99
11 hole pump - $145.99 (That's one EPIC hole!)

What part store? If you gonna buy a water pump , save yourself a haste tabs go to toyota and buy yourself a pump for a supra 2jzge, there is only one that fits, lasts, and does what it supposed to with the right gasket!
This way yiu don't have to do buy it and do the job twice

Both are available on Amazon or Rockauto. I have replace 2 and bought a spare to keep in spare box for the race car. Can have either in a couple of days.
