Sneering rack and pinion ???
Hey guys i try to help answer questions on the forum when i can. Now i have one of my own. Last night i installed a new rack and pinion and power steering pump. After installing filled with ps fluid. Turned the wheel several times. WTF still sounds and feels broken. I came across some info that it can be the EVO component on the rack. Any info is greatly appreciated

Moved to the correct forum.
What sound is it exactly making? Is it grinding/screeching? Sounds like something an air leak would cause. Air in the PS system is no good. Check your hoses.
IDK if the EVO ("Electric Variable Orifice") could cause noise issues...is there white smoke coming out the exhaust?
