Electric Superchargers (real ones)
Has anybody looked into setting up an electric supercharging system? (and I don't mean those silly eBay fans)

Apparently some physics breakthroughs might make them viable.

Allegedly this has been done on an FR-S/86 with some notable hp/tq gains.
It's obviously not a replacement for any traditional FI, but for $1500 and relatively easy labor, it could be worth it IMO.
We really need to see a boost gauge, though.

Meh. Doesn't actually blow enough CFM to sustain HP.
Its nice that technology is coming up past the turbonator scams of the 2000's into something viable. Would be much more useful on sub-2liter motors. On ours? Pretty useless for now.
Although, as an adjunct to a laggy single turbo this might be pretty interesting... This would be a very neat way to compound turbo a setup. QSV owners beware?
