turbo with Trac control?
Hey guys im new and I just purchased my first sc300 about a month ago and im trying to plan out how to go about turbo charging, I have a trac control system on my car so I feel like it would be difficult attaching the intercooler piping due to Clarence issues. How would I turbocharge with trac control. Or is there some way to go about removing trac? Thanks ~chris

OP, to your question about keeping traction control, it's a more difficult part of a GTE swap and 99% of people just delete their existing Trac. For an NA-T project I don't think it's possible to keep Trac at all. Then there is another issue: Toyota's Trac system is overly sensitive and very antiquated. It's not very good.
Unfortunately this also means you don't have any good factory traction control options with a turbocharged SC.
ProEFI standalone ECUs have a "traction control" subsystem but that's getting into a full engine tune on a custom build. There is also the more classic solution Supra MKIV guys have been using for years: RaceLogic. That's a wire-in traction control system that is very effective and superior to the factory Toyota Trac. It also costs about $1k before installation.
