going turbo soon, please help me out.
ok, i know that some of these things have been posted, but i never really got a straight answer out of any of them, please dont just tell me to search, i am seriously going turbo soon, and it would be very helpful if you helped me out (terrible sentance structure..).
i have a 95 5speed sc300, and i am planning on going turbo soon and i have a few questions.
1. i think i am going to go with the greddy emanage, and the greddy e-01 for fuel management, but i am curious will i still need a VPC? if i dont, can i use the sc400 mass airflowsensor? if i do need a vpc too, i think i may just go with the AEM unit.
2. i am going to get new injectors because i am getting the fmax kit, i am pretty sure i am at least, and i dont wanna use the AIC and 2 injectors, so i was thinking of picking up 550's (based on friends reccomendation) can i use the stock supra injectors for this or do i have to buy different ones?
3. what do you guys think of the fmax manifold, i hear good and bad things, i really need to know the bottom line.
thanks guys
Hamid

I'm pretty sure that the E-manage will not eliminate your MAF, I'm pretty sure the AEM will. For injectors i would get on supraforums.com and check the N/a section and see if one has them for sale, there is usally someone with some for sale. I'm sure you have heard good/bad things about the F-max manifold. Bad things being the manifold will crack easy. Out of all the supra guys using them i have never heard of this happening to anyone so i would go for it!

I'm not talking about the 2jz-gte injectors.. I'm about about the guys with N/As that have 550s that fit the 2jz-ge. There are many n/a-t owners on the board that are always upgrading.

the emanage does not replace the MAF... make sure you get the injector harness and ignition harness options; they are really nice to have when tuning for turbo
i've heard good but mainly bad things about the fmax manifold...
why don't you wait for DaveH's kit over at supraforums? it utilizes a custom manifold and a GN style turbo... its a PTE52; big enough to make 500rwhp with moderate tuning and a SupraTT headgasket...
kit should be around $3500 which includes 525cc injectors, the turbo, manifold, ex. wastegate, downpipe, and all the needed fittings... all you need to provide is an intercooler of some sort and fuel control (emanage)... so for about $4750-$5000 you'd have a monster setup capable of 500-550rwhp
to answer your question about injectors, like angel said SupraTT injectors will not work because they are side feed... the best top feed injectors to use are 88-91 RX-7 T2 injectors, they are 550cc and high impedance... do not get 87 injectors they are low impedance

hamid, what is your goal for the car ? i have a 93 sc300 5pd that i want to get 400-500 rwhp for daily driving. Ive read you can get up to 400-500 rwhp on the stock fuel system. Im doing the same thing, going turbo, and want the most bang for the buc. Heres a link to a PHR kit i was looking at...
