Default 1JZ-GTE Ticking, Revs and Dies

So I was working on the cars stereo. Once I was done decided to turn it on and it made a ticking noise like, ticktickticktick. Idle was fine at 800rpm. After letting it warm up for a little while, I revved it to about 3-4k and after letting go of the throttle it died. I got 10l of gas in my tank, and my engine oil just hit the low line mark, and that is being replaced tommorrow. What should I look at? Also what should I use 5W30 or 10W30 what brand? Live in bc, and it gets cold here.

AS far as the oil goes If I remember you you use celsius there, 0c=32f so if your typical winter temps run around 20F to -20F suggest you use the 5W30 Valvoline high mileage oil synthetic blend otherwise if temps avg higher use the 10W30 same brand. Gets very cold here also,
