Anyone swap out the stock auto for a 6 spd?
Hello guys,
I'm currently looking at getting a sc300 and swapping a 2jzgte + 6 spd. I'm quite aware of the potential of the 2jzgte as I recently had a supra TT which has been replaced with a 03 Nissan 350z Track. Anyways, is it possibly to swap out the automatic for a 6 spd? I'm sure swapping a 6 spd into a 5 spd sc300 would be much easier but finding a clean 5 spd is next to impossible.
Thanks
Dave

Anything is possible. It will be a bit more difficult than a 5spd but can be and has been done. Clint's 1st SC was an auto, now 6spd... and somone else on here has a 2jz-gte with 6spd that used to be an auto. It would be difficult finding a shop to do it though, most wont touch the auto's. But i am sure of you offer enough $$ up front they will do it.
