UPDATE!

I dropped off my car at Sound Performance on Monday morning so they can wire in and tune the SAFC and give the car another once-over. I picked it up today, and put about 10 miles on it and so far it runs fantastic. Here is a dyno sheet. Had the boost set to 9psi so that I can conserve the HG. I think its not too bad actually I'm happy that the car runs well, and I hope it is finally sorted once and for all

Congrats man! 330whp is plenty fun and just getting all the kinks worked out now is probably such a relief.

Update: 2

My celebrations were short lived. I guess this comes as no surprise, given my luck with this car. The CEL came on today on my way to work

What CEL? Have you pulled the codes to see what it is? Now that you've gotten the car tuned and it pulls / boosts good does the CEL cause the car to run differently / poorly?

well that was good news for sure. if it ran good then it will again, CEL is probably something being picky. let us know what the code is and how its running. sometimes a reset will get rid of it.

looks like its all egr stuff which is probably because of the egr temp sensor reading funny, resistor probably fixes that on the egr probe. for the sub tps and trac control codes I guess whatever fix you did didn't work fully.

last code is a maf code, not sure why you would get that or what A circuit it, probably something to do with the safc or it got confused. will look it up.
can you see how much % they pulled on the safc. maybe its not registering enough airflow at idle now or somethng.

says open or short in the maf circuit, so I am thinking the wiring is loose somewhere.

so just as i suspected, more codes came up, and i had a feeling it was misfiring, but now it has been confirmed.
I checked with the scan took i have at home and here are all the codes:
-P0402 exhaust gas recirculation flow excessive detected (shows up 3 times)
-P0100 mass or volume air flow A circuit
-P1400 sub-throttle position sensor circuit
-P0300 random multiple cylinder misfire
-P0301 cylinder 1 misfire
-P0302 cylinder 2 misfire
-P0303 cylinder 3 misfire
-P0305 cylinder 5 misfire
-P0306 cylinder 6 misfire

So there is still something set up wrong. Damn

I would fix the sub throttle code first with a couple resistors at the ecu (I did it but not sure if its in ali's thread). The egr i know is just a 10k ohm at the plug.

I also got some random misfires on my build as well but not every cylinder and never a permanent code. I wonder what these shops are doing to fix our car?

I would check supra forums for that maf code.

the p0100 is likely causing the misfires. as I said I would double check the wiring they did o the maf/map. fixing that code is the place to start. egr is resistor and something similar for the trac. this whole obd2 thing is turning out to be pretty painful.

Geez obd2 sounds like a PITA.....

Have you considered converting to and obd1 Aristo ECU with a map sensor?

I'd have to agree with the whole obd2 thing, but we really just haven't had enough people to figure it out.
