Going to be freshening up the 1JZ I bought and have a whole slew of parts in my basket at Driftmotion. I'm going to be buying the gasket set from a local'ish guy who bought one and never used it for all my cam seals, front/rear main seals, valve covers, etc. However this is the other stuff I have.

Please mention anything if I've left it out that's good to do while the engine is out. It's on a stand now and will be for at least a couple weeks.

2JZ front half water pump (motor was already in an SC300 so the rear half is fine)
1JZ timing belt
1JZ idler pulley
1JZ hydraulic tensioner
NGK plugs
FIPG black
1JZ thermostat

If you are freshening up the motor I would replace the old rubber lines for coolant and power steering as well as vacuum lines. Also get rid of those stock hose clamps that snap together. They tend to lose tension and cause leaks. Also do a radiator flush. May not be necessary if you always used coolant though.

That's stuff I'll do as I get closer to having the motor in the car, I was really only looking at core motor items for now.
