Default clutch or trans issue

Hey, recently picked up a sc300 for a drift track car, it's a 2jz original 5 speed. My problem is when I go to push in the clutch then release it to give it gas, it will just rev up and then after a few seconds it will finally catch. Does this sound more like a trans issue or a clutch or something else? Is there anything I can try and do such as changing the trans fluid or bleeding the clutch? New to the forum and the whole lexus platform. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I will check into that. I did forget to mention though this only happens under hard driving and clutch kicks. Normal driving the car runs and drives perfectly fine.
