Recommendations for "subdued" looking exhaust compared to current
Hey guys. I am looking to swap out the current mufflers for something more subdued - less "canny" looking if that makes sense. Ideally I would like the tips to be smaller and the mufflers to look as stock as possible (maybe even black with polished tips - not a requirement but an idea). Current exhaust is 3" pipe w/ Magnaflow cans...
Any recommendations on a set with a good price/quality happy medium?

Yea I'm not a fan of the canister-style exhaust on our cars either looks to be more suited for Honda's IMO.
I have the Tanabe Medallion's on my SC. Not only do they sound nice but they're about half the size of the stock axel-backs.

Also, there's a whole stickied thread dedicated to exhaust setups on the top of this Performance & Maintenance section. Take a look through there for more options, theres a lot.

I am really just looking for mufflers - not sure if you are referencing a full exhaust setup? It is a requirement I have 3" inlet/outlet given the engine setup... I already have 3" mandrel bent pipes all the way back.

Nope, the Tanabe's are axel-backs, just mufflers.
Although I do have a full exhaust setup, the Tanabe's are purchased separately and can be used with the stock exhaust piping, or a shop can install them to fit an existing exhaust setup.

I definitely like the look of these, but the inlet appears to be smaller than 3" (the piping is 60mm), so wont be ideal for my application.
