Default Sc 400 shift solenoids issue

Now I think ive narrowed it down to this, i haven't dropped the pan but the atf fluid is doesn't seem to have much of anything although i haven't taken off the pan to see if the filter is clogged or if the magnet has caught anything the car seems to shift fine
heres my cars second issue and i know this because of the previous owner (not the one i bought the car from but the one who left his paperwork in the car explained to me)
the car will not start if you cut it off and then try to start it again
period
wait 5 minutes every time and it will cut right back on
the guy has countless receipts of stuff that has been replaced by a reputable shop
heres how it happens every time
the ecu i believe thats how its spelt? or ecm has been replaced as if it was culprit cost nearly 1k for it and that still didn't fix it but anyways onto what the car does (this issue has nothing to do with the tranny but it doesn't help that i cant restart the car right away sometimes)

go to the car unlock get in and drive off
first gear ok
second gear ok
third gear ok
fourth gear ehhh not until 4k rpms but it will still go in
ive been able to push the car up to 80 but after whatever gear i get it up to its just goes into a neutral limp mode
cut the car off, cut it back on and drop it back into drive and it will go again just fine for a another maybe 1/4 then do it again

if i let the car just sit there and warm up and try and do put into gear after letting the car warm up per say it won't go into gear, turn it off back on whoala
sometimes ill have to wait the 5 mintues but it works like magic every time
all the shifts go in at low rpms and high rpms so my guess is shift solenoids
also my speedometer did not work and now it did? randomly i guess?

i was searching in the trunk for the hinge wire and i couldn't find it does anyone have a picture of it by chance?

If your speedometer is spotty, that would be the VSS.

As to your other issue, it could be a slow shift solenoid, do the issues go away when the tranny is cold? Failing tranny cooler?

I was having a similair problem and after a bunch of "dropping pan poking around at the VB, moving this, replacing that, " I found out that the entire issue was an ATF thing.

Make sure to

-Fill the transmission with ATF while the car is at idle

-Check fluid level when up to temperature, and at idle.

How many miles?

Had the same thing happen to me in my SC400. Ended up removing the trans off it and now I'm swapping a KA24DE Manual trans into it.

i checked the cars codes today i got code 24, 42, and 71
42 is the speed sensor but i doubt this would be causing it to shiftout to neutral while riding normally
i had to drive the car home 13 miles and i made it in about 4 hours but i made it waiting 5 minutes in between for the alarm
