Default 1JZ Sc300 Throttle/Reving Issues

1jz auto, 92 sc300. Given to much throttle and the car just cuts? Im thinking its a fuel issue, to much throttle, not enough fuel so it cuts? Lmk what you guys think, its stil on the stock fuel pump, only mods are FMIC and intake.

Well to rule out the coil just unplug them one by one while the vehicle is running, if it runs worse, then you know the coil is working.

Well its strange, ive been driving the car for over 2 weeks and the car drives decent, problem is i cant give it more than 20% throttle. Im gona look into upgrading the fuel oump and see if it helps.

Any other thoughts?

The ecu was replaced, with the old ecu it wouldnt rev past 2k rpm. Swaped in this 1 and now its drivable but stil has the reving issue. And the only code coming up was the tps, but it was adjusted and even changed out, codes gone but stil doing it

Is it timed right? Why don't you have a wideband? I highly doubt it's your pump. If you drive it under 20ish% throttle are you able to get it over 2k rpm?

Timining is dead on. Wideband is in the near future i need to straighten out a few things. And yea the car drives over 2k no problem, it drives just like normal. I can get to about 8psi with the minimal throttle. At that point anymore throttle and the car just cuts. The rpm dosnt bounce around after it cuts, the motor basicaly stops til i let go of the throttle then i can keep going. Il post up a vid soon

You sure the tps isn't on backwards? Like, the tabs on the tb on the opposite sides of the tps tabs that they're supposed to be on? I did this many moons ago on my first Toyota. 7mge. Didn't throw a tps error. I took it apart and didn't know what I was doing, put it back on opposite sides.

Il double check on that, i did notice that theres a screw that is extremely loose on the tps is it suppose to be this way? Its almost falling off.

Definitely not...the TPS is extremely sensitive and does change a handful of things if rotated the slightest amount.

when my tps wasn't working it would mess up the boost also, but would generally drive around ok, so def could be that.

Think it could be bad wiring? The shop who "attached" my body plugs was extreamly shady, they did a extreamly poor quality job, took about 3 weeks, and even stole my old ecu ,broke my new radiator, etc etc so i purchased a uncut soarer harness. Im going to extened the plugs then put it in and hope it fixes this thing
