Default Alt wiring Question

HI
I have searched and searched and I am sure there is a thread with what I need but I cannot find it. The problem I have is with the alt on my 1992 sc300.

I am putting in a new engine and harness from a 1995. The engine only has 25000 miles on it.
So everything was fine until I go to the alt. There is no wire and plug for the voltage regulator, The alt is also from a 1995. I have searched the harness up and down.
What am I missing? Please help me!!

Thank you
Ivan

Default Another problem, will not start

So I think I have a bigger problem besides the alternator wiring. So I put a 1995 engine in a 19992. The engine I used has been in storage for a very long time. I hooked everything but it will not start, it wont even fire. I am lost at what to do at this point. I did use the 1995 wire harness and computer. Any advise!!

Thank you
Ivan.

if you have the 92, then put that in and use the 92 old harness and alternator. i might be wrong but the alternator harness is not part of the engine harness...what symptoms are you having? do you see any lights? are there any clicks? do you see the check engine light come on? if you dont then look for ground issue and power issues..

I just came back from the shop, and I figured out I do not have any spark or fuel. Tried to jump the fuel pump and it did not work. I have not checked the exterior light but all the interior stuff seems to work.
I was starting to think that maybe the too did not mesh.

Thank you

Will the engine harness from a 95 work in the 92? I was wondering if this is my problem?
Thanks

I got it running tonight, I think I had a bad ground. Now I need to wire up the alternator. Any advise on how to do this.
