Default Performance chips ?

Im still learning about building cars and one of my friends told me that he put a chip in his every car hes built and its been a 50-70hp increase . id like to put one in my 93 sc300 na setup so if anybody has one , what do you recommend ?

No way Ho Say. These so called chips only work that I have seen only in diesels for huge torque performance gains. Do a turbo and call it the day. Plenty of threads on this subject.

Since you're new I wont flame you. Every thread you search on preformance 'chips' in this forum results in the OP getting laughed at. They're compared to adding flames to your car to make it go faster.

..anyways, as 1JZPWRD said, easiest to go turbo. But since you are new, start off with learning about things such as air intakes (or BFI's), and maintenance that helps with preformance. Once your comfortable with your way around a car, then look into turbo's. But please stay away from 'chips' (and your friend) lol.
