Default Help 1997 Sc400 coolant overflowing

I recently replaced my radiator and hoses due to a stress crack at the top plastic portion of the radiator. I'm can continuing to see coolant overflow on the plastic guard underneath the motor. The car does not overheat and the heat works. Do I iust have air in the coolant system or what?

Thank you for your input.

probably air, trying to get the air out is a good place to start.

Is there a certain way to bleed air from the system?

I have been told it could be a head gasket too, but I don't think it is the car runs too well to have a blown head gasket no smoke or anything. Can anyone tell me of a good way to bleed the air from the coolant system on this car or will it work its way out through the overflow?

if it isn't overheating I wouldn't jump to blown head gasket conclusion at all yet. It could be related to that though if it always is pushing it out. does it look like coolant or a mix with any oil. (milkshake like)

it may clear out the air from driving, just keep topping it off. But usually on a completely cold car you turn the heater on and let it warm up with the cap off so the air can get out. you want to be safe though and if you are unsure have a professional do it, really should have been done when refilling the new radiator and if it was done at a shop it is likely they did it already.

It's just regular coolant coming out, i did the radiator and left the cap off while it was runnin until the car reached operating temp and was blowing heat. It doesn't seem to be a lot of coolant just enough to land on the plastic splash guard underneath the car.
