s362 vs pte 6266

PTE 6266
I live near SP, I personally never seen PTE fail, I run a GT4276 on my 1jz since 2009, My friend run a 6765 no issues as well & he runs his car at 30 PSI all the time, he is on E85 & PRO EFI... I have seen people use silicone gasket maker on the return line & over size feed lines & finally the under size return line... I run a -3 feed & -10 return... no issues... one more thing, people forget to run a proper ventilation for the BLOW BY.. that kills any turbo real quick..

its really not cost efficient for a bb.
its an extra 600 bucks for bb.
I was trying to compare their jb.
and it seems like it is the jb that fail (sometimes)
from every graph Ive seen, it always seems the BW is about 200 rpm spool slower compared to precision
any insight into that?

^^ Yes because the compressor housing, exhaust housings, wheels are bigger and not billet wheels.
BW just started gdoing billet wheels the past couple years and do not offer it on every Turbo.
They Shine up top , they shine on big displacements engines etc..

shaft sizes are no longer a concern between the 2 as the second generation of 6266 just released now has the larger shaft sizing and added thrust capacity.
check out some impressive numbers out of this size from 2 reputable builders/tuners who are not known to fudge the numbers for the sake of sales

This is not a fair dyno graph for the average 2j guy who does not have $3500-5000 in a head,$2000 exhaust manifold, $2500 intake and I'm guessing a turbo that costs ^^^ $1500+ a $4000 stand alone!
lets try to keep the $ for the working class guy to enjoy his car.
just my 2 cents!

Here is a 1 jz bone stock bottom 264 BC cam stock valve, stock bucket, stock intake no port work on a R154 with a single disc tuned on C-16 with a .88 open S366 BW right off the shelf no billet wheel. (a $625.00 turbo) remember this is a 8.5:1 compression 2.5 liter 1 JZ. MS 2 computer. 32 psi of boost.
I built this car almost 4 yrs ago and its still running even after it going to a new owner.

wow man that is a beast.
BW probably has some of the nastiest sounding turbos.
sounds like a jet engine! gotta be careful with all those smart cars around. one might get sucked in!

Ed, no offense but this particular dyno is on a big $ motor 10:1, VW intake, full race mani, 280's, IP head and almost 40 psi of boost.
