Default Z32 (300zx) Transmission on 2JZ

Like the title says, has anyone managed to put a Z32 (300zx) 5 Speed transmission on an SC300? I know there is an adapter plate that is required and the shifter sits a bit farther back but I can't find any info on this swap.
I'm only considering a Z32 transmission since it's much cheaper but more reliable than the W58.

Nope never heard of it. After all the custom parts and miss/match oem stuff needed your better off getting and R154 or the newly sought after 350/g35 trans.

The only one I would consider is this one:

Lexus owners seldom seem to incorporate different OEM parts, from what I can tell from this forum.
Z32 tranny is pretty stout, but if you're going to go through with making an adapter, driveshaft, trans mount and a custom clutch setup, you may as well spring for a Z33 tranny.

I don't think there is a huge difference in price between the Z33 and Z32 trannies. $550 vs 400.. but the Z33 is newer and chances are, has probably seen less abuse.

Would you or anyone else happen to know what driveshaft is used with the Z33 transmission? Also, would the speedometer be somewhat accurate?

it would have to be a custom driveshaft. I believe you need a Nissan titan slip yoke.
collinsadapters.com
that website has the adapter kit, the clutch, and I believe they even sell a driveshaft for the cd009 transmission
