Well worth it in my opinion? Nothing like a piece of mind...plus anytime you buy used, you run the risk-post up some pics, there's a pretty detail D.I.Y. section as well. Check it out, we're fortunate to have some of the most knowledgeable members here! GL, keep us posted.

Thanks Steve,

Unfortunately for the DIY'ers I'm handing this job off to my mechanic that I go to when I'm in a pinch. Besides, with the timing belt, water pump replacement. I'm a bit too to take on that task, as it is a very precise replacement. In addition, I'm somewhat limited on the space where I'd be able to tackle such a big test.

Overall though, I can't wait to get this done due to the fact it's my daily driver & I usually put between 500-700 miles on it per week.

Jomo...good luck and like steve said it is well worth it. This past weekend did an oil change, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, and fuel filter. My back is killing me but well worth it as my SC is still running great with 235,000+ miles.

Thanks brother... Yeah, I replaced my fuel filter 2 weeks ago, and did my oil change last week. Been putting in a lot of extra work on my days off getting my car right. Hopefully once this gets complete I can move on to some cooler things with the SC, such as new LED backlights on the cluster, repair my needles,& get new leather for the front seats
