Well I got a 1jzgte just sitting in my garage. It was previously in my sc300 singled however it got rod knock. (Would knock above 2.5krpm). I got off the oil pan and was examining it and I wiggled all 6 rods and they make a clicking noise and has some play. Is that normal?

As for my other question....

In order to rebuild my motor what usually is needed in parts? Basically I'm a noob when coming to build or tear apart a motor. I have knowledge in swapping a motor.
