Default turbo direction

Hello, so im trying to figure out how I want to do the na-t built
little bit of background, im from northwestern ohio, and if you have never been there the place is as flat as they get.
so here is my idea so far (want to have great highway pulls)
ill probably go with the cd009 trans, with a 3.13 rear end.
ill leave the distributer on it for now
going to go with an aem standalone
going to go with 1200cc injectors
dual fuel pumps (still researching what brand I want to go with, want to run e85 and 93, there is one gas station that does sell race fuel around town though)

but here is my biggest question, I have no idea what turbo to run.
Something that spools up around 4k would be good.
Any suggestions that would be appreciated!
Shooting for 500-600 whp
