SS Tool for Valve Clearance Adjustment
I have a couple valves that are getting noisy and wanted to Check/Adjust the clearance. I see in the shop manual it requires a special service tool and doing some searches on the tools it appears there are slight variations of the tool for different Toyota/Lexus DOHC engines.
Attached is the tool I'm looking at but it comes with a bit of a concerning warning: The #88250 does not work with Land Cruiser 1993 1997 and Lexus LX400 1994-1997.
The tool seems rather universal and looks like the tool in the shop manual. Anyone know if there is differences in these tools or whether they will work okay?
