Unhappy Car trouble

I have a 1996 sc300 na-t

I was driving home today and when stopped at a stop sign my car died. Then there was a very strong smell of gas. I tried starting it a few times but it wouldn't start. Finally I decided to wait about 10 min and then it started right up.

When I got the car it had a bad crank sensor or knock sensor I can't remember. Before that was replaced the car would die randomly while driving and you'd have to let it set 10-20min before it would start. That has been replaced and I have not had any other issues with it.

Now I know my bov is completely fried and is sucking in air so basically I have a huge vacuum leak. Also I think it needs new plugs. I was actually on my way to the shop to have all of that taken care of when this happened. Then after I got it start I just drove it straight home.So are these related by any chance? Or does anyone think it may be that sensor again? All input will be appreciated!
