Default Possible corrosion in turbo?

I am in the process of tearing down my 1jz and noticed a powder type substance in the rear inlet piping and also in the turbo itself. Can someone educate me on what this is and what may have caused it? Also I believe the front turbo is blown due to the amount of oil in it. Any help is appreciated!

wow it almost looks like shavings. not sure what it is either. thats pretty bad if thats the inlet side and its been sucking all that in all this time. judging by the pictures it looks like you need to get them cleaned and/or rebuilt or just get another set. some go single all the time and have the stock twins sitting around. I'd vote for going single or something because 50% of the time I see someone gets a 1j/2j twin, one of the turbos is either going out or dead.

Haven't gotten that far yet to check. Crossing my fingers so hopefully there will be no surprises. Yeah there's a little bit of black mixed in with it as well. And this is only on the Inlet side. The other turbo jut has oil all up in it as some seeping from the turbine.
