Water pump gasket?

I am going to be doing my timing belt and water pump this weekend.

Should I use the gasket that came with my aisin kit or use high temp sealant like suggested on lexls?

No one? I think I am going to use the gasket. I don't want sealant squeezing into the chamber.

I would use the gasket, although other members here have not used the gasket and just went with the sealant, like O.L.T., that makes it official lol

I don't use a gasket at all and do the exact opposite of scmissle. I ONLY use gasket sealer after using a razor blade to make the surfaces squeaky clean. Never had any issues as long as you make sure the surfaces are properly prepped.
