Default SC300 owners, any benefit for a cold air intake?

So here is my quandry, I have a stock as a rock 1992 SC300, 5 speed, 71k miles. I really do love the original look of the engine bay and overall original clean look of the car.

My big question is will a cold air intake make any significant impact on my MPG? I know I MIGHT get a 5 to 10hp bump in RWHP, but that really isn't enough to justify butchering my stock engine bay.

I'm thinking if I can honestly get another 3 to 5 mpg out of this car doing that single mod it would be worth it. 1 to 2mpg, well I'd just much rather look at my stock, unmolested engine bay.
