Default Found a vaccuum hose thats plugged with a screw help identify please

Ok guys so I have been checking my hoses for vac leaks on my 92 sc4. I found a wire tucked away beside the vacuum cannister on the the rear passenger side of the bay. I don't know if something had been deleted or not. For the most part the car is un molestered. This is the only rigged issue I have found. The vac hose comes off the back of the intake mani then runs across the top of the back of the engine then stops and has a screw in it.

yeah the vac line that goes over with the check valve is generally for the heater valve.

Is your ac cold and your heat hot? If so, no, you don't NEED it. It's good to have for improved AC efficiency, but not totally necessary.

Well to be honest with you I have heat, really hot heat actually. I have a cel for system running lean. I'm checking for vac leaks but if this wont hurt the car the I'm not worried.

I think that line feeds the fuel evap canister (under your wrist in the first pic). It first goes to a VSV mounted between the exhaust manifold and intake tube for some reason; why it couldn't be mounted next to the canister I have no idea.

Then the line comes back up to the canister.
