Help where to put engine grounds

Default Help where to put engine grounds

Just wondering where guys run the power and ground cables from the battery I keep getting enough voltage to melt the negative terminal on my battery when I connect it. I figured that its probably not ground properly so I'm just trying to find out where to put them.
