Air/Fuel Guage & O2 sensor
This question goes out to you Turbo guy's.
I would like to know if any of you have installed an A/F guage, and if so did you also use a wide band oxygen sensor. I would also like to get any input or suggestions on type or brand you may have. TIA.

Hi there,
I don't have experience with a wide-band O2 sensor yet, so I can't comment on that.
But if you are going to be using a cheap a/f ratio gauge running off the factory O2 sensor I would recommend what I am using.
I am using the Apexi Turbo timer, which has a built in a/f ratio meter, volt meter, and of coarse the turbo timer. Here is a link to it here: http://www.apexi-usa.com/electronics_timer.asp
You probably do know that these are not very accurate, and shouldn't be used for any tuning, but it does give a little idea of how rich or lean your car is running. I picked mine up for $70US in a group buy over a year ago, so they can be found for a good price too.
Anyway, its something for you to check out if you are going in that direction.

I have heard good things from the Viper crowd about the Tech Edge wideband from Australia. With the sensor, it runs about 400 US Dollars.. cheaper if you solder it all together yourself.
If you prefer a name brand, go for something like a motec, but they are a lot pricier for about the same thing.
