Default AC issue 95 SC 300

Ok recharged my AC again today and the coldest they could get it with the fan on medium was 68 degrees. With the fan on high the temp would climb to 75 degrees. The low side AC line is not cold to the touch like it should be. I have no leaks, brand new compressor, new drier, new expansion valve. The only thing not brand new is the condenser. The AC will only get cold early in the morning, at night and maybe after driving on the free way for a while. So other than buying a new condenser I'm not sure what else to do anymore...

With AC problems, it seems that something is always leaking. I would check the condensor, and inject a Dye into the system. Then check with a black light. Freon just doesnt dissapate, it gets released into the atmosphere somewhere. You have a leak somewhere. Check in the dash component as well. Thats where mine was leaking. Could be anywhere. Check then recheck.

When was the last time you put freon in it?

What type of freon?

Could be a leak like Mark mentioned, could also be a clogged condenser since you haven't replaced that yet. A shop will clean it up for you. The Sequoia was just recharged here and it worked. One day it was warm and didn't get very cool at all. A/C shop diagnosed it as a clogged condenser and (overcharge) but ANYWAY...

What I did was found this pretty cool button on the door panels. The strange thing is that this button actually makes the windows go down as well. I push on this button and the windows magically go down, and I have air. It's been this way for three straight years. I've heard a lot about this AC thing, but my car didn't come with this option obviously.

Thats for the replies so far. A brand new OEM condenser is only $119 shipped so I am considering changing that out. My system already has dye in it and no leaks are showing with the AC machine multiple times. And we have also used the black light. I know there can still be tiny leaks but I also have all new O rings everywhere. And in other cars in the past even with a leak, the AC was still cold right after being charged and then would leak out. Mine isn't even cold how it should be right after a fresh recharge..

Try on of those leak sniffer tools from harbor freight. Its like 70 bucks, use it once and then return it lol unless you wanna help out other friends as well.

The windows do absolutely nothing to help with swamp nuts/***

I'm just giving him a hard time. I've had no AC either for three straight years. It's 109 degrees outside and yes, it sucks. Jeez, it was a joke, lighten up people.

Did the guys have a fan blowing on the condenser? Could have heat soaked the condenser with it just at idle. My ac doesnt work too well once it passes 100 degrees. I suspect my fmic playing a role, so i will probably wire up an electric fan right in front of the condenser.
